Pelse Modrite (Dr. Modrīte Pelše) is a Professor of Economics at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU), affiliated with the Institute of Economics and Finance. Her research focuses on regional economics, sustainable development, and the economic aspects of bioeconomy. She has authored numerous publications and participates in international research projects, while also teaching and mentoring students in sustainable development and regionaleconomic planning.
