Dr. Neil Andrew Forbes, BVetMed, DipECZM (Avian), FRCVS is an internationally renowned avian and exotic animal veterinarian and RCVS Specialist Emeritus in Zoo and Wildlife Medicine (Avian). A past President of both the European College of Zoological Medicine (ECZM) and the European Board of Veterinary Specialisation (EBVS), he has extensive expertise in avian medicine, infection control, biosecurity, and wildlife health. Dr. Forbes has lectured worldwide, contributed to the development of veterinary infection control training, and conducted influential research on hospital hygiene and contamination reduction in veterinary facilities.
