He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion \u2013 Israel Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 1994, where he focused on sensor-based navigation aids for the visually impaired. He has held research positions at CSIRO, Australia, and has extensive expertise in robotics, autonomous systems, computer-integrated manufacturing, and navigation technologies.
