Owais Khan is a Research Fellow in the Department of Management Studies at Aalto University, Espoo, Finland. He holds dual doctoral degrees in Engineering and Technology from Ghent University, Belgium, and Business and Economics from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Italy, as well as a master’s degree from the University of Twente, the Netherlands. His interdisciplinary research focuses on strategic management, artificial intelligence, sustainability, circular economy, innovation, pricing strategy, supply chain management, and digital transformation. Dr. Khan has authored numerous publications in leading international journals, with his research advancing sustainable business models, responsible procurement, market-driven capabilities, and technology-enabled organizational transformation. His recent work, “AI for the Underdogs: Navigating Risk and Growth in High-Tech Micro-Firms Through Generative Artificial Intelligence,” explores how generative AI can support innovation, resilience, and sustainable growth in resource-constrained high-tech micro-firms. He actively collaborates with international researchers on projects addressing the intersection of AI, sustainability, and strategic management.
