His BA is from Carnegie-Mellon University, his MA from Pennsylvania State University and his Ph.D. from Michigan State University. At Doane, he is a highly-decorated teacher and has served as Honors Program Director, History Department Chair and Social Science Division Chair. Dr. Orsag has over 70 academic publications\/presentations. His scholarship involves transdisciplinary team-based projects mixing history and health science.
