Dr. Chen Shunan earned his Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Forestry in 2022. He currently spearheads research at the Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligence Technology (CAS CEBSIT), Chinese Academy of Sciences. His work focuses on developing nanomedicines for neurodegenerative diseases and cancers by integrating organic synthesis, mass spectrometry, and optogenetics. Dr. Chen is proficient in advanced platforms including AAV-mediated gene delivery, FACS, and protein-nucleic acid interaction assays. He has successfully led multiple CRO projects involving translational medicine and in vivo efficacy validation, demonstrating extensive expertise in bridging basic neuroscience with clinical applications.
