Suzanne de la Monte, MD MPH is a Professor in Pathology, Neurology, & Neurosurgery at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She conducts basic, translational, and clinical research on mechanisms and consequences of brain insulin resistance and metabolic dysfunction, particularly in relation to neurodegeneration. She coined the term, ‘Type 3 Diabetes’ to reflect the main underlying problems in Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. Her lab investigates how noninvasive liquid biopsy approaches could be used for diagnosis and monitoring neurodegenerative diseases. She has published over 350 original scientific manuscripts and serves as an editorial board member of repute.

Y. Yamamoto, M.D., Ph.D., graduated from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine in 1975 and began a nearly four-decade career at the Department of Neurology, Kyoto Second Red Cross Hospital. Serving as Director from 1992 until 2014, Dr. Yamamoto was instrumental in shaping the department’s clinical practices and patient care strategies. In 1988, Dr. Yamamoto completed a Ph.D. at Kyoto University, further advancing their expertise in neurology. From 2000 to 2014, they also served as a Clinical Professor at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, contributing to medical education and research. After stepping down as Director, Dr. Yamamoto took on the role of Advisor of Neurology at Kyoto Katsura Hospital, where they provided mentorship and guidance until 2024.

Emilio Sacristan, PhD, is a respected Mexican researcher, inventor and entrepreneur in the field of medical technology. He is currently Professor of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering, Director and Founder of the National Center for Medical Instrumentation and Imaging Research, CI3M, at the UAM-Iztapalapa, Mexico City, and Chief Science Officer of Vacere Medical, a med-tech startup based in Northeast Ohio. He is also co-inventor of the Magnetic Stimulator of the Facial Nerve. He has broad experience in innovation and technology transfer in healthcare. He has co-founded and served as Director and CEO or CSO of 10 medical technology startups in the USA, Mexico and Germany, and is author of more than 90 peer reviewed publications and 44 International patent applications.

Yousef Alhwaiti received the bachelor’s degree (Hons.) in computer science from Jouf University, Saudi Arabia, in 2010, the master’s degree in computer science from Ball State University, Muncie, IN, USA, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree from Pace University, New York, NY, USA, in 2019. He is currently an Assistant Professor in computer science with Jouf University, Saudi Arabia. He has published many articles, most of them on machine learning. His research interests include deep learning, pattern recognition, and computer vision.

Sergio L Schmidt has completed his PhD at the age of 31 years from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and postdoctoral studies from the Department of Psychiatry at University of Alberta (Canada). He is the director of Neurology Post-Graduate Program in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil . He has published more than 100 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of reputed journals

Currently, Associate Professor with National scientific qualification as full professor in Gastroenterology. Member of the Editorial Board for the World Journal of Gastroenterology, Scientific Reports, and Frontiers in Nutrition. Author of 183 publications indexed in SCOPUS and WOS; 123 participations to national and international congresses mostly as speaker or moderator/organizator. Member of the Italian Society of Gastroenterology, Italian Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, Italian Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism.
