Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n

HIV\/AIDS remains today a major public health problem for which research efforts must be maintained. Among its priority areas of research is the study of the evolution of infection in the human body. In this paper starting from the clinical data of the standard reference curve and using the least squares adjustment method, we introduced a new 3D model capable to reproduce more finely the dynamics of the infection. The results which take into account cell-to-cell transmission mode and the nonlinear coupling show that, in addition to the disease-free equilibrium point, the system presents depending on the characteristics of the patient\u2019s immune system, one or two endemic equilibrium points, thus highlighting for the first time four categories of patients among which : patients with organisms capable of eliminating the infection without resorting the treatment and organisms presenting two operating states, one of which having a high CD4 count and a low viral load and the other having a low CD4 count and a high viral load. The control of the system performed by simple monotherapy leads to failure compared to polytherapy. More interestingly, although the state of health of some groups of patients can only be driven to an acceptable level of CD4 count and viral load, the state of health of other groups of patients can be driven towards the disease-free equilibrium state corresponding to total eradication of the infection. It appears that the model thus introduced can help to organize the more reliable infection control strategies.<\/p>\n
