He currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Bioscience and Chemistry at Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT) in Japan, where he leads research in microbial biotechnology and bioprocess development. Shinobu Oda was born in Japan (specific birthdate not widely published). He pursued higher education in the biological sciences, culminating in a doctoral degree in agricultural science. His academic training provided a strong foundation in microbiology, fermentation, and biochemical engineering \u2014 disciplines that would become central to his future research.
