\nDr. Panarat Chencho is a distinguished Thai nurse educator, researcher, and public health advocate whose work has significantly contributed to health promotion and the prevention of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Thailand and beyond. With a strong foundation in nursing science and a deep commitment to community-centered care, Dr. Chencho has dedicated her career to advancing evidence-based strategies that promote healthy behaviors and strengthen primary health care systems. Dr. Chencho earned her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing from Michigan State University, USA, where she developed advanced expertise in nursing research, health behavior theory, and population health. Her doctoral training provided her with a global perspective on health promotion and disease prevention, equipping her with the analytical and methodological skills necessary to address complex public health challenges. Her academic journey reflects a strong commitment to integrating international best practices with local health care needs, particularly within Southeast Asian contexts. Currently, Dr. Chencho serves as an Instructor and Researcher at the Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Buddhachinaraj, located in Phitsanulok, Thailand. In this role, she is actively involved in nursing education, curriculum development, and academic mentorship. She plays a key role in preparing future nurses to become competent, compassionate, and research-informed professionals capable of responding effectively to evolving health care demands.
