Dr. Atta Rasool, PhD, is an internationally recognized Environmental Geochemist and currently serves as a Senior Researcher at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. His research focuses on heavy metal contamination, environmental mineral transformations, and emerging pollutants in soil–water systems. He specializes in advanced analytical techniques to study the speciation and ecological risks of toxic elements such as thallium, arsenic, and chromium. Dr. Rasool has authored over 45 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact international journals, with an h-index above 32 and more than 3,800 citations. His work contributes to sustainable water resource management, pollutant risk assessment, and climate-resilient environmental remediation strategies.
