Dr. Sinem Durmuş is a researcher and post-doctoral scientist in medical biochemistry affiliated with İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University in Turkey. Her research focuses on molecular biology, disease biomarkers, and biochemical mechanisms involved in human diseases. She earned her PhD in Medical Biochemistry from Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, where she studied the relationship between miRNA-21 and Cathepsin B with disease severity in Familial Mediterranean Fever patients. Her Master’s degree research at Istanbul University investigated RAGE gene polymorphisms in endometrial cancer, reflecting her focus on genetic and molecular factors in disease.
