Professor Jiang He is a distinguished Chinese legal scholar and academic specializing in International Law. He was born in October 1973 and currently serves as Professor (Level 3) at the School of Law, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL), Wuhan, China. He holds a Doctor of Law degree and is a doctoral supervisor. He is the Vice Dean of the School of Law and Director of the Institute of International Rule of Law and National Security at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He is also recognized as a Wenlan Young Scholar of ZUEL and has been honored as one of the Top Ten Young and Middle-aged Jurists of Hubei Province as well as an Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Expert of Hubei Province. Internationally, He has served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Lund University, Sweden, and as a Visiting Scholar at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI). He was also a Visiting Scholar at Fordham University in the United States. In addition to his academic work, he holds several important professional positions. He is a Standing Director of the Chinese Society of International Law, Vice President of the Natural Resources Law Research Branch of the China Pacific Society, and Vice President of the International Law Research Association of the Hubei Provincial Law Society. He also serves as Chief Expert for a major Philosophy and Social Sciences Project funded by the Ministry of Education of China.
