Dr. Chrysoula Kourtidou-Papadeli is a physician specialized in aerospace medicine, neurophysiology, and clinical rehabilitation. She is the Director of the Aeromedical Center of Thessaloniki and a certified Aeromedical Examiner under EASA/HCAA. She is the Vice -President of the international academy of astronautics (IAA), a Fellow of the Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA) and has received advanced training in aviation medicine, including aerospace physiology . Her research focuses on the physiological effects of altered gravity environments, including hypoxia, hypergravity, and inactivity deconditioning. She has pioneered the clinical application of short-arm human centrifugation as a rehabilitation tool for patients with chronic neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, including multiple sclerosis. Dr. Kourtidou-Papadeli is actively involved in European and international research initiatives in space medicine and human performance, contributing to the translation of space technologies into innovative, patient-centered healthcare solutions.
