Dr. Xing is a staff pathologist in the Department of Pathology at the Cleveland Clinic and an associate professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. She is actively involved in clinical service work, research, and teaching. Dr. Xing specializes in cancer diagnosis on various fine needle aspiration and small biopsy specimens. Her research interests primarily lie in non-gynecological cytopathology, telecytology, and the evaluation of variety of ancillary tests in cytological specimens. Many of her publications focus on urine cytology, including the evaluation of The Paris System, validating ancillary tests in urine specimens, as well as review article on the newest advances and application of artificial intelligence in the field of urine cytology. Dr. Xing has also established herself as an effective educator at the local, regional, and national levels.
