Hans-Uwe Dahms is a professor at the Kaohsiung Medical University in Taiwan and particularly interested in the integrative effects of environmental factors on the health of people. Particularly pollutants and bacterial infectious diseases are studied by his group employing different integration levels from communities, populations, individuals and molecules involving studies in molecular biology, anatomy and physiology. For analysis and synthesis as well as diagnosis and therapies his group involves particularly green chemistry and nanotechnology.
