Dr. Lakshika Tennakoon is a Clinical Epidemiologist in the Department of Surgery at Stanford University. Her work focuses on improving trauma systems and outcomes for injured patients. Her research spans epidemiology, injury prevention, biostatistics, bioinformatics, health services research, and machine learning. She contributed as a Psychiatry domain expert to the NIH National Database for Autism Research and received the Senior Scientist Award from the International Congress on Schizophrenia Research. Dr. Tennakoon has extensive international experience, having worked at King\u2019s College London and the University of Melbourne, Australia. She holds dual Doctoral Degrees in Public Health and an MPhil in Epidemiology, with a background in Internal Medicine.
