She founded the Multiple Sclerosis Center and Neuroimmunology Laboratory at Sheba Medical Center, leading advances in neuroimmunology, optic neuritis, and imaging biomarkers in demyelinating disease. She has published over 250 peer-reviewed papers and directed international clinical studies. Prof. Achiron is co-founder of HawkVi, an AI-driven platform for automated fundus-image analysis enabling early detection of optic-nerve damage. Her current work focuses on integrating intelligent analytical tools into neurology to support earlier diagnosis and personalized patient care.
