He has taught at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and National University of Singapore before joining Bond University, Gold Coast, Australia in 1993. Dr Kumar is Fellow of Royal Statistical Society since 1984 and a chartered statistician. He is Jont Editor of the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society (Series A- Book review)) besides being on the editorial board of several other journals.
