She founded and directs the Internal Communication Research Hub, a virtual space dedicated to fostering innovative research, education, and best practices in internal communication. With a background in corporate communication research and consulting, Men\u2019s research interests include internal communication, leadership communication, emerging technologies including social media, metaverse, and artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurial communications.<\/p>\n<p>Men has published more than 100 articles in refereed journals and as book chapters. She is the (co-) author\/editor of five books. Men\u2019s contributions to the field have been widely recognized through numerous top paper\/research awards and recognitions from national and international communication associations and conferences, including the 2022 Hillier Krieghbaum Under-40 Award from the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC). He has been the Head of DEMec since June 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Jo\u00e3o Tavares is co-editor of more than 80 books, co-author of more than 50 book chapters, 650 articles in international and national journals and conferences, and 3 international and 3 national patents.
